Age: unkown
Weight:
several tons
Height:
5’00
Appearance:
looks a lot like the human torch from the fantastic four, except the flames around his body are black.
Background:
A very detailed description is available if you go to Tales of the Crimson Warriors and read The Birth of Black Fire. But a more brief version is this: a long
time ago, there was a warrior named Inferno (Black Fire). He was seeking to find
all the medallions, and the Chosen one at the time was trying to collect them to keep Inferno from getting them (at this time
Inferno’s flames were normal colored). To make a long story short, The
Chosen One failed, was defeated and killed before the hands of Inferno, and Inferno almost got all the medallions. But Tyfoonica stepped in and stopped Inferno. In an effort
to save himself, Inferno encased himself in an almost unbreakable (even Inferno couldn’t break himself out) crystal
tomb, and teleported to a random location in the universe. In that crystal he
stayed, in a sort of hibernation for several thousand years. Throughout those
years he became much stronger because the whole time he was in the crystal he was in deep meditation. Finally, he drifted into a black hole, which shattered his crystal.
Inferno struggled to overcome the black hole, and in the end he absorbed the black hole. During his struggle with the black hole, the pressure compressed him and made him smaller (that is why
he is only 5 feet tall). After he absorbed the black hole, his flames turned
black (from the black hole). He couldn’t remember his name because he was
in the crystal for so long, and his past seemed more like an eerie dream than a reality, but he did remember two things: his goal for the medallions was not complete, and the other thing he remembered was
the one who stopped him from achieving his goal of collecting all the medallions: Tyfoonica. So with those two things in mind, Blackfire set out to collect the medallions and
to seek his revenge on Tyfoonica.
Weapons:
Sword of Agony – the “twin” of Tyfoon’s Chosen sword.
Both swords were created by the Wizards long ago. Their purpose was to
serve as a holding place for the medallions when they weren’t being used. This
is where Blackfire keeps his medallions. The only differences from the Sword
of Agony and Tyfoon’s Chosen Sword are the appearance, and that Tyfoon’s sword has an unlimited power supply and
The Sword of Agony doesn’t. It has to recharge after it has been used a
lot. But when enough medallions are stored in the Sword of Agony, it has an infinite
power supply provided by the medallions.
Powers:
Black Fire is able to fly, he has pretty fast regeneration, and never tires from using fire attacks. Black Fire is unaffected by any fire attack, and he isn’t bothered by heat. Most water attacks don’t faze Black Fire, because it evaporates when it comes near BF’s body
because of its extreme temperature.
Techniques:
Black Fire:
Black Fire fires black flames at his enemy. They are extremely hot, capable
of melting even the strongest metals and other substances.
Explosion:
Fire shoots out from Black Fire in every direction and engulfs everything around him.
Evaporation:
Extreme heat explodes from BF’s body and evaporates any water around him.
He can use this on incoming water attacks, or even on bodies of water like rivers or lakes.
Special Attacks:
Unrested Souls:
All of the souls of the people that have been killed by Black Fire’s sword of Agony come out and aid Black Fire
in battle. They cannot be harmed, because they are ghosts, and the mere presence
of the tormented souls is enough to drive weaker fighters insane.
Wall of Fire: an impenetrable wall of fire about
300ft x 300ft surrounds the fighters on all sides (including above them) and prevents the fighters (excluding BF who is immune
to the wall of fire) from leaving. This wall stays up until the fight is finished.
